Helpful Information

Are you dog-friendly?

Tichborne is fantastic for dog-walking. Dogs must be kept on leads, but are welcomed throughout our pub and gardens. You can usually find some doggy treats in a jar on the mantlepiece.

Why can't I find your phone number?

We don't have one.

As a very busy pub with a very small team we simply haven't the capacity to field calls, so we don't have a telephone. Until we introduce one, we ask that you email us any enquiries and we'll get back to you as soon as someone is available. Our email address is at the bottom of the page.

Do you allow campervans to stay overnight?

We welcome a limited number of overnight stays in our carpark for self-contained campervans when having a meal with us. Just make a table booking via the link on our homepage and add a note under 'Any special requests?' to say that you'd like to stay overnight and give your reg no.

Can I hire out the whole pub?

Afraid not.

We try not to make a habit of closing to the general public - we are a public house after all - but we will make a very rare exception to this rule if one of our dear neighbours in the village, or one of our own team, is getting married or celebrating something equally significant.

Do you allow children?

Families are warmly welcomed. We have a children's play area, high chairs, baby changing facilities and a children's menu.

Our curfew for children is 7pm and the play area is strictly out of bounds from this time.

We're keen for children to enjoy themselves while they are here, but we do ask parents to be mindful that we are in a small, sleepy village and our close neighbours would appreciate a bit of noise moderation.

Can you cater for coeliacs / vegans / vegetarians?

There will always be vegan and vegetarian options available on our menu and most of our dishes can be made gluten-free. Just be sure to speak to your server about any allergies when ordering.

Can I pay with cash?

No, we only accept credit and debit card payments here.
