The Tichborne Arms is an independent country pub just outside Winchester, with a reputation for seasonal, produce-led food, proper cooking and doing things a little differently.
We’re growing our kitchen team and are interested in hearing from good chefs at several stages of their career - from ambitious Chef de Parties through to experienced senior chefs.

The Kitchen
Proper cooking. High standards.
Our food is seasonal, produce-led and cooked from scratch. The main kitchen is where you’ll spend most of your time: it’s busy, demanding and there’s nowhere to hide.
We have an outdoor Meadow Kitchen and cook over fire on our Asado, and there will occasionally be opportunities to get involved outside. But fundamentally, we’re looking for someone who wants to become a really strong part of our core kitchen team.
Head Chef Tom sets high standards and expects the same from the people around him. You’ll need to work hard, take feedback, care about what leaves the pass and bring the right attitude every day.
If you’re good at what you do and serious about getting better, you’ll fit in well here.
